  • This monument is remarkable by its structure and its history. It is impressive by its size also.

  • the antique city of Ephesus impresses with its size and scale. Odeon-another place where music is frozen in stone. An open-air museum. Here you need time just to wander around, sit back, think about the eternal, enjoying the beautiful view of the creation of human hands. Beauty! Unforgettable impressions and wonderful images will stay with you for life after a visit to the ancient theater. And if you are lucky to see view or in this ancient theatre concert-you're just lucky.

  • This was the second theater type place in the ancient city. It was bigger than the first place. This is a must see trip when visiting Kusadasi on a cruise ship. I loved visiting this old city and thin...  more »

  • Beautiful Place, a must see!. The intricate beautiful ruins show the quality of life and social status of the city. Few pointers if you are going there: 1. Take a cab: its inexpensive and you go when you want to go and you can leave when you want to leave. 2. Get off at the top so you can easily walk all the way down. Its quite a walk uphill otherwise. 3. Take 2 small bottles of water per person, we got there in August around 10:30 and the place was boiling. It may be better to go in the evening 2 hours before they close.
  • Amazing place. With or without a guide you have to go. If have a good guide you are going to get lots of New information! Hermosa tours have really good ones and take you to the Marys house and includes entrances and lunch. Probably cheaper by going by your one..
  • The experience of walking in all the marbel. .the smooth cool flooring againest the heat of the day. The amazing library, the focal point at the end of the main walk ..with streets of either side, Shows and let's a person see the architecture of the time. The mosiac tiled street,is a real site.showing time.creativity. A beautiful place. Take suncream and water with you if visting..
  • This is a must visit if you are in Turkey, a great ancient city once upon a time. Beautiful architecture, well preserved. There is so much to see, be sure you allocate sufficient time to appreciate it. Beware of some paparazzi following you and taking photos, they may be harassing you to buy the photos later. Also, the souvenirs sellers outside are pretty rude, costly for poor quality souvenirs.
  • Visiting Ephesus was a highlight of my Mediterranean vacation. Walking amid the ancient ruins was surreal and humbling. Beware the beautiful but slippery marble everywhere! The terrace house exhibit was amazing. I definitely recommend visiting, especially since the country and people were beautiful and hospitable as well!
