Where to stay in Selcuk

Though its close proximity to Ephesus puts the small town of Selçuk on the map, you'll find just a handful of guesthouses in the immediate area. Many are small and family operated--and budget-friendly--and some offer free shuttles to nearby Roman ruins. For more upscale options, explore the hotels a few miles east of Selçuk in the hillside town of Sirince. For luxury accommodations, you'll have to venture farther west to the coast for four- and five-star seaside resorts.

  • Built to honor the Emperor Domitian, it is clear that square was meant to serve as the the center of town, as one can see several streets heading straight to it. Not much to photograph.  more »
