  • I was stopped kindly by owner of Black Sheep Carpets, Aydin; unlike most vendors in Turkey Aydin was very knowledgable about where I was from in America. We talked easily as instant friends. Although I am a student and unable to afford any of the beautiful pieces in Black Sheep Carpets, I felt such a kinship with the owner and employees, that I wanted something to show of it. Being a bicycle fanatic I bought saddle bags for my bicycle! I was repurposing a traditional shoulder bag from eastern Turkey, where Aydin is originally from. He was very knowledgable, fun, and gave me an honest deal for a bag that I love.
