  • In early January, 2018-th year, I managed to see this paradise planet. Pamukkale, in literal translation means cotton Castle. Indeed geothermal waters consisting of many minerals and large amount of natural soda and kalbcija derived from the bowels of the Earth and passing through the mountains, flowed along the slopes of the plateau, forming travertine is a small quaint natural pools shape with sides of limestone. Sources of calcium bicarbonate perenasyshhennye, form on the surface sediment of pure white color. In addition to calcium, water is rich and the other chemical elements and compounds: magnesium, hydrocarbon, sodium sulfate. Here you can swim or walk barefoot on the travertines. Water in winter, even warm. In the 2nd century, the Romans built near the city of Hierapolis travertines, which later became the resort. For decades, around excavations sources that shed light on the history of ancient settlements around Pamukkale is full of stalls with souvenirs, the atmosphere is always festive, you can take pictures with parrots.
