Mountain Nature / Park
Babadag represents one of Turkey's most popular paragliding spots. Boasting spectacular scenery and a summit less than 5km (3.1 mi) from the sea, this alp is revered as a paraglider's dream. Those up to the challenge of jumping off a 1,969 m (6,460 ft) peak can choose from a wide number of tour companies for equipment and advice. Be warned, the drive up the mountain can be challenging and is not suitable for nervous or inexperienced drivers. Bring a warm sweater or jacket, as it can get cool at the summit. Make Babadag a centerpiece of your Oludeniz vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Oludeniz holiday planner.

Where to stay in Oludeniz

The coastal town of Ölüdeniz is both rich and diverse in its accommodation offerings for visitors flocking to the famous Blue Lagoon. Inexpensive bed and breakfasts and hostels appease budget-conscious visitors, while all-inclusive, five-star resorts appeal to traveling families. Small, family-run two- and three-star hotels offer a more intimate stay in traditional bungalows and a short walk down the main road from the breathtaking coast. If you don't want to stay along the coast, opt for one of the apartment complexes with a view of the mountains in the city center.
