Dalyan, Marmaris
(4.2/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Set among the reed-lined river delta, Dalyan serves as a starting point for the exploration of Lycian rock tombs and the ruins of the port of the ancient trading city Caunos. Carved high above the river in the rocky cliff stand the windswept facades of tombs dating from 400 BCE. A short boat trip across the river takes you to Caunos, a major trade port in the 5th century BCE. Miles of sandy beaches, including the famous Turtle Beach, offer sunbathing and swimming opportunities. Taste some of the local delicacies, such as blue crabs, in one of the many restaurants along the river. • Rest 15 days. Tried not only lie on the beach, but also show a lot of interesting things were at the 6-minute excursions. this one. I liked what she was like just a few step from the time flew by quickly, and we got a lot of impressions and photos. First, we left the ship from the Marmara region, reached the beach turtles there have walked along the beach, purchased and managed to get a Tan., which primanili the turtle saw the local aboregeny. Then transferred to small boats and went to mud sources of dalyan. On the path of our trip, we were able to see Lycian tombs, took the mud and went back. For the price of this tour was not too expensive-something like $15.

  • Absolutely breathtaking. The fact that these are not the easiest of places to get to and what the locals must have endured to create these tombs for their loved ones is nothing short of incredible

  • Great hotel loverly friendly & very helpful staff. Outstanding views very relaxing week after sailing around the coast & before our massive drive to the Caucasian mountains.
  • Once we are satisfied with the hot water issue, we thank you for making this a holiday.
