  • The Mardin Museum is interesting, not only for the rich and differentiated historical collection, because Guard works of our ancient history little seen in other museums. The Sumerians, Babylonians and Assyrians are strongly portrayed in their customs, beliefs and culture. A strong and unusual point of this museum is the program developed with the children of the region that there learn very artistic traditions of the region, which preserves the culture and identity of the people.

  • The Museum is free, help with input from employees. Unlike the classic Museum after a general introduction to cycle rather than going to the rooms prepared on different topics. The life of religion, trade from Mardin, social life, etc. This is way more compact. Also for the first time I see so hearty Museum descriptions. Exhibited works are what is, what it does, it can read in detail. All comments which could be specified more clearly the direction we need to follow.
