  • To start the introduction really symbolized architecturally beautifully designed. Abideye was established on the date you enter Thomas States flags. Then you are entering through the gates to the yard referred to pain. Konya flights on both sides of the courtyard of the martyrs in the name of registered made of glass space. When you continue from here is our history dating back to the war of independence from Çanakkale War battle scenes and cross-sections of the life in the villages of that period to the smallest detail in mind. So I picked one out where I think.

  • I'm surprised I've seen posing for wedding photo at the entrance. The Strip after the war of independence from Çanakkale ... at the entrance to the memory of martyrs have been offered would be better descriptions of where they are. And sit on a bench to think.

  • this museum is super close to Mevlana museum which make it great. has a super awesome paints and mosaic
  • We stumbled upon this by accident. The wood, iron and stone work are beautiful. The museum in the back is a well worth a look (free). It is the war of independence told by miniatures but also shows how people lived during that time.
  • The Independence War Martyrs Monument in Konya worth a visit, and it is free. It is very close to the Mevlana Museum. The portal is beautifully decorated and the interior is a work of art. The detail level attained in the miniature of the war trenches and villages are amazing. Different models and maps tell the history about Turkey’s independence war, and also show how people lived back then. Despite the fact that any war is a sad thing, congratulations to the Konya people for having such a beautiful monument.
  • In a very different atmosphere here for the sake of the motherland after seeing what is more important than one person's life are given v flag is better understood.

Where to stay in Konya

The religious and conservative city of Konya can accommodate all walks of life. You'll find a handful of hostels and guesthouses for the budget-conscious traveler, all within the city core and at walking distance from the city's biggest attraction, the mausoleum. If you want something a bit more upscale, look to the four- and five-star hotels, which are also within close proximity to the attractions. Because of the focus on the religious site, inns and restaurants rarely serve alcohol here. If this presents a problem, look for the few international chain hotels which are more geared toward the foreign traveler--these tend to feature a full bar offering.
