  • The Church's architecture, works of art, frescoes, soothing atmosphere and experience should definitely be seen in İzmir, the glory and one of the rare historical and sacred places.

  • Unusual to come across in the Muslim State Christian shrine, but it is the oldest church in Izmir. When the Saint Polycarp was Bishop of Smyrna. The Romans tried to burn him at the stake but the flames miraculously moved it, then he was martyred by torture and this church was built in his memory. very nice inside, it is worth to visit necessarily if Church is open.
