  • Istanbul Sirkeci historic post office building reflects the date of the communication by a beautiful Museum with the item. Building a work in itself already. Marble stone arch and bright with high ceilings adorned with columns. began in 1905, has been in a period of 4 years. From the entrance the postman with clothes fashion model female and male postal workers. Get free, just give your wallet ID card. Each floor reflecting the history of Telegraph and telephone communication machines were exhibited various instruments. A separate floor for used stamps. About 1 hour or so was a chance to roam all over the floor. I like it very much. Thank you to those who think. Than enough pleasure.

  • Postal Museum is located in a very beautiful building. We searched for it for a long time, although it turned out that all the time walked around. If you are in the Centre of Istanbul, then take a look at the historic post office building. Entrance to the Museum is free. Those who are interested in the history of communication, it will be interesting. I liked more the Museum building.

  • A museum on 3 floors, big enough and free. just take a document at the entrance in Exchange for a pass and you can easily do the rounds. On the ground floor old mailboxes and photo, on the first floor a collection of old Turkish stamps and on the second floor the best ... rooms devoted to stamps, Telegraphs, telephones ... all very old, like a collection from the oldest to latest. Very interesting and unusual. just wish the captions next to objects is only in Turkish, and not in English or other languages. Still very beautiful and special ... the second floor is very large. Interesting Museum and free! See if you are in the Sirkeci area.
