Istanbul Sapphire, Istanbul
(4/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
One of Turkey's tallest buildings, Istanbul Sapphire offers unbeatable views of the city's European section. Situated in the central business district, the skyscraper rises 54 floors above ground and boasts special features designed to absorb sunshine and protect the interior from external noise and harsh weather conditions. More than just a marvel of modern engineering, the building draws tourists with its shopping mall, restaurants, indoor golf course, vertical gardens, swimming pools, and observation deck, which provides a 360-degree view of the city. The 43rd floor houses a 4-D movie experience, simulating a helicopter flight over the city. • I really enjoyed the highest observation platform in the city, but why it is not particularly popular, which for us was just a plus, fabulous views of the city (but not the sea!) 50/50 open, without a roof, there immediately restaurant, tables, where you can freely sit and admire the view, smoking even) and liked the 5 d film, equipment and of course old canvas, but I liked it.

  • The highest building in Istanbul which made me enormously perplexed because of it's astounding view from the top. I enjoyed great restaurants too like the Cafe vista. This have 2 towers, four floors w...  more »
  • Seeing the modern skyscrapers of Levent next to the winding informality of Gultepe gives you a great sense of what Istanbul is.

  • Used to work in an office in the residential floors. There a shopping center on the ground floor and a couple of floors below it that made shopping easy when I was departing for home and the food court works fine for everyday dinning. You may not find every brand you are looking for, but those you need on daily basis are present in the shopping center. The view is great, the architecture is modern and elegant and the security is high.
  • It's not good. Many shop was closed. The restaurant that is located lounge is terrible especially. It's very very expensive. But taste is so terrible. Never I want to go there from now on. But the view is good on lounge.
  • Loved the view from the observation deck on the 54th floor! We spent almost an hour there just looking at the view from all the angles and sitting enjoying the view - unfortunately there's no cafe or restaurant you can order from on the top (at least there wasn't one when we visited in July 2016) but there are tables and chairs - so maybe bring your own drinks? :-) The view is worth it. The building also houses a wax museum with historical characters the guy there gives an introduction to every character which was pretty informative. (The guy we got did the tour in Arabic because we all spoke Arabic). The building also have a kids playground in the lowest floor - though the games are pretty rusty and for really young kids 3-6 or so. We had our little sister 10yo and we got bored pretty fast - we spent it playing Air hokey there.
  • istanbulun en yüksek yeri
  • Location is great, but it's missing what shopping malls have: (shops)! Sapphire has been there for a while but with a very very few shops around, it's the last place you would want to visit for shopping, food court is a classic fast food court, with one or 2 different kitchens
