Temporary moved to the new building. Exhibition is much smaller than was before

Conveniently located from the Sishane metro station and midst of tourist hub. Only floor 2 and 3 exhibits were open for visitors. On Thursdays the Turkish residents are exempt from entry fee. There is a museum shop on ground floor. The exhibits on floor 3 are mostly paintings by Turkish artists. Floor 2 has exhibits mix of photography, video projection, movies and paintings. Kids aged 5 and 11 with us got bored.

This is where I got to understand art.. I was able to immerse myself into the art pieces and really dig deep into what the artists portrayed.. and for the first time ever, I was able to understand art! They have quite distinctive pieces including audiovisual clips. The memory of my visit will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Never have I come across such a powerful display of art. I am no artist, but the descriptions provided such depth to the work that it is unmatched by many art exhibits around the world. The best part about it is that its only 3 floors and is easily covered in 45 minutes.

Not recommend at all. Basically because of the people who work there showing not respect at all for a pregnant woman who and difficulties breathing and she wasn't able to wear the mask fully. And they call themselves museum of modern art... They should rename the museum and call it ancient.
