  • The aquarium is well done. You can enjoy a large variety of species that are 'displayed' in a very suitable way. The entry fee is quite expensive - around 65 TL but the maintenance of such a place cos...  more »

  • A very enormous and modern aquarium with a variety of aquatic species and different conditions from polar to tropical. Salty water fish Sweet water fish Penguins Reptiles Simulate different areas such as poles, Amazon forest, cold and tropical regions. Includes a large shopping mall and Kurt Foods with a variety of delicious fast food, seafood and local cuisine I love this place very much because I spent some good moments and I was very entertained
  • Entrance cost a little bit high. Didn't like mandatory photography of visitors. The acquarium is more suitable for children. However you might see some interesting sea creatures and wild animals. 5 stars for the virtual chopper experience.
  • 2 big shark and a lot of species of fishes are gathered in this aquarium. you can see different themes for the different type of species. the place is very close to Ataturk airport and very low traffic. this place is very fun and interesting and you can enjoy there at least for 2 hours. the most interesting parts for me was those small frogs and penguins. the design of some parts and type of glasses are amazing.
  • Its a good place for kids and adults as well. Especially, the part of glass tunnel. Spare about 4-5hrs for this place. Problem is that all descriptions are in Turkish, but still you can make out about 60% of the info from the interactive information screens placed at all points. Spend at least 15min at all places where there are stairs made to sit and enjoy the scene. Some of the animals are really small. Take pics without flash. Its better to take along water or light edibles along, otherwise at the end you will really tired.
  • We had so much fun and took a lot of pictures. Definitely pay 3 more euros to see the helicopter tour of Istanbul in 5D, it is 11 minutes long. It is a very big aquarium and it has pinhuins and sharks and also a rainforest zone which made you feel you were there. 5 Stars!!!
