(4.1/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
Serving as a commercial center for the past two millennia, Golden Horn occupies an estuary that separates the old city in the south from the more European north. Owing to its strategic location, the site witnessed a number of memorable historic occurrences and its sparkling beauty has been immortalized in paintings and poems throughout the centuries. Observe the ships and busy locals at this lively spot and walk along the bridge that connects the two sides. Take a break at one of the quaint cafes in the area. • The Golden Horn is a species of the Bosphorus Strait that goes a little in the city of Istanbul. Is relatively small and you probably will undergo one of its bridges. Offers a nice vision of Istanbul and of some of its monuments. In bridges has many fishermen that cluster.

  • Recommend to drive across the Bay on the Big Bus tour buses. You can also travel along the Bay on scheduled boats.

  • Beautiful view of the city, especially at night. Be sure to have some Turkish tea at Pierre's Lote's cafe while enjoying the view.

  • The hotel is in a good location but the interiors are in shambles and hotel front desk is more about selling you tours and airport transfers than giving real information. The whole pushy sales thing gets a bit too much in Istanbul, you don't want to go back to the hotel to be bothered even more.
  • Let us be honest. The hotel is amazing. It's very nicely decorated. The staff are too friendly, welcoming and will help on each instant of your stay. I would recommend the suites since its on the top floor and will give you an amazing view with no much price difference, that would really make your stay worthy it.
  • The staff were very friendly especially the breakfast staff. Seckin and Sabina (Yasmin) were particularly very helpful.Though we faced a few problems with the air conditioning the customer service was excellent and any problems we faced they were solved straight away.the location of the hotel was perfect as the historical sites and many public transportations were very close to the hotel. We would recommend everyone to stay in the Golden Horn Hotel Sirkeci.
  • Very near to everything you need
  • Good and helpful staff
