  • This was the second visit llforom, alforom on ليچو city Istanbul Aquarium and an amusement park. You can spend a whole day with the family, as well as many diverse shops and restaurants, I would recommend a visit

  • It's reachable by tram, which you can take from the old Istanbul, with no changing lines. The stop is right near the mall and, once you are there, you can find also big international brands like Decat...  more »

  • All brands. Nice cinema. Big parking lot. Too crowded especially in weekends.
  • Large, modern mall with all the options including Cold Stone Creamery. Plus has an aquarium, Legoland, Ikea, and a dinosaur place. Access is very easy with the M 1 metro line or via car or taxi with the E5 highway. Can be very crowded, especially on weekend afternoons. Food court options are typical Istanbul mall fare.
  • It is very easy to reach there by public and private transaction. Most of the time you can find parking space. Most of, it is all in one area.
  • The largest mall in Istanbul. Almost all the brands have a seller inside the mall. Additionally you can access to ikea and koctas. Also there is a big market. Do not expect to find everything in the food court. Regular turkish cuisine fine but the quality of service is low. There are additional nice restaurants outside the mall which I prefer mostly. I advice the cookshop menu and a finishing dessert magnolian pudding 😂 so yummy😋
  • It is one of the bigger malls in Istanbul. A little far from the city center for tourists. But it can be easily accessed through the M2 and M1 metro Lines. From Taksim you can get on the Yenikapi line, change from Yeni Kapi to the M1 line going towards Ataturk Havalimanı and get off ön Koçtepe station. Edit from the station to find Forum mall right outside. You cannot access the metroline from within the mall here. Forum has a variety of shopping options. It has both regular and upscale brand outlets. It is the perfect getaway for families with kids. It has LEGO land, SeaLand; one of the two aquariums in Istanbul, Jurrasic Land a heaven for dinosaur lovers! It has life size automated dinosaurs, a fossil digging facility for young explorers and a very educational walk through with an ezpert guide. Although sometimes language can be a problem as not ALL guides are that fluent in English. There is a huge play area with indoor rides for children. A bowling alley and a cinema! The food court has a large variety of both local and international food chains. The bottom floor of the mall is THE place to get new born baby accessories. From clothes, to toys, to furniture shops. You find almost all brands here. Mothercare, Ebebek, Joker Kids, SooBe, Chicco etc. It has a huge super market , REAL supermart on the first floor. There are three mega stores for electronics and white goods; Media Markt, Teknosa and Bimex along with branded outlets of Samsung, Arcelik, LG, Siemens etc. Thats not it! Right adjacent to Forum is IKEA showroom with a passage connecting it to Forum from within the mall. Right next to IKEA showroom is another huge showroom of Turkey's local alternative to IKEA: Koçtaş

Where to stay in Istanbul

The bustling downtown core of old Istanbul is the popular choice among tourists wanting a short walking distance to the city's biggest attractions. Here you'll find hostel-style accommodations and reasonably priced and traditionally decorated hotels, as well as bed and breakfasts and inns with views overlooking the sea. Though often the most affordable, accommodations in the old city can be very overrun with tourists and street solicitors. If you seek a more relaxed stay, consider lodging near Taksim Square. This new, trendy neighborhood is a short 15-20 minute ride from the old city, but puts you closer to restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. Though the newer area of the city is a bit more upscale, you'll also find moderately priced hotels and some hostels. Look for luxury hotels in the western suburbs close to the airport, overlooking the banks of Bosphorus.
