  • Firuz Ağa mosque for over 500 years is a serious tourist attraction of Istanbul, a model of Ottoman architecture of the XV century. Of course, this mosque outside saw the tourists visited in the Sultanahmet district. However interesting and mosque from the inside. In their interiors, little changed for 500 years. Be sure to visit ...

  • This rather modest, but very likable, Firuz Ağa built mosque-main Treasurer of Sultan Bayezid II in the year 1491. Less than 40 years after the fall of Constantinople. Awesome story! Firuz Ağa Camii Mosque is located in the Sultanahmet area, so do not notice its quite difficult. And the mosque, definitely deserves to be sure to have noticed.

  • Although of small dimensions because counts with a Portico with so only four columns and a minaret; This mosque built towards the end of the 15th century is one of the temples that represent the Ottoman architecture. It is located a few steps from Sultanahmet Square, beside the same tram station is located. Enjoy this beautiful and historical place and if you think this review useful thank you obsequies a Click. LIFE... it's a trip!

  • Stayed at the Sura Hagia Sophia hotel literally 30 seconds walk from this small masjid. Slightly neglected on the inside (considering it is the next closest masjid to the blue mosque). Men and women (upstairs) can pray here Alhamdullilah, my wife preferred this masjid to the blue mosque as the recitation was more audible for women. During my 6 night stay in Istanbul I managed to listen to 7 different Qur'a reciting here, all with amazing recitation and very good tajweed (beats vast majority of UK recitors). Whatever your islamic opinions on du'a/dhikr after salaah, I'd recommend sitting and waiting at all of Istanbul's masajid (Camii - pronounced Jami) as the Imams usually recite a portion from the Qur'an, very different spiritual experience to most other masajid around the world. I actually heard brothers from UK debating loudly about the permissibility of partaking in group du'a all the while the imam was reciting beautifully from the Qur'an.
  • Its a cute mosque, in the sense it is on the smaller scale compared to its neighboring mosques. It is very clean with some great designs inside.
  • Quaint and cute little mosque.
  • Güzel, küçük, şirin bir cami.
  • A wonderful experience...the urge to go inside and pray at the mosque is beyond explanation....masyaAllah
