  • I just came back from Fez Travel's latest Anatolian Dreams Tour on August 15. While this tour is good in covering highlights in major Turkey cities, more time could have been allocated in Istanbul. 1 full day in Istanbul is not enough to explore this major metropolitan city. I downgraded this tour two stars because prior to my trip, I had emailed the company repeatedly inquiring about the balloon ride in Cappadocia and was told to wait until my tour to talk to the tour guide as they are able to book with the company directly once we were on the ground. I took this advice and upon arrival, found out that no prior arrangements were made and we were left without a hot-air balloon experience in Cappadocia. Keep in mind, I am flying in from Calgary and came a long way for this experience. It was one of the main reasons we had chosen Turkey. Flying into the country and paying for the tour is very expensive, to leave the entire experience without having had the hot air balloon is ridiculous and made me very angry. In addition, our tour guide Genghis Khan made little to no effort in communicating to us about the hot air balloon experience, and waited until we repeatedly inquired about the hot air balloon before he told us that it wasn't going to happen as it was full. He kept leading us on about "waiting for a call" from his company to see if we can get a reservation. I had a feeling this wasn't going to happen because this is a world famous experience and people come from all over just for the hot-air balloons. DO NOT travel with Fez if you are wanting to ride the hot air balloons, as they will mislead you into not booking the balloons prior to travel and once you are on the ground, there is no support or remorse for having mislead you and you will not end up getting to experience the once-in-a-lifetime experience of riding in a hot air balloon over Cappadocia. I went into this tour with high expectations, but if you are wanting the hot air balloon ride, know that this company is going to screw you over and waste your money. In addition, the airport transfers were always late to pick us up and the company was extremely disorganized in our travel plans. We were supposed to be on a train for our last day, but unbeknownst to us, the company booked a flight for us in the middle of the day, wasting valuable time that could have been spent exploring Istanbul. Our tour guide Genghis Khan was lazy, unorganized and overall uninterested in our group. He simply dropped us off at places, giving little to no information and left us alone. We were unaccompanied in often random places that none of us understood the significance of or the history of. There were plenty of days that started way too late, wasting valuable time that could have been spent seeing the cities. Genghis was also extremely unreliable and often didn't provide information when asked, and required repeated follow ups before he gave us answers. I have taken many tours before, and this was by far the worst and most disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this tour to anyone, this company makes false promises and leads you to places that you just know is simply for a cash grab and not to actually introduce travelers to new places and to learn history. If your tour guide is Genghis, RUN FOR THE HILLS! This may seem a bit dramatic, but trust me when I say, after spending thousands of dollars on flight tickets and the tour itself, to get there and not get a chance to go on the hot-air balloon and to have an uninterested and terrible tour guide, one feels compelled to warn other travelers before making the same mistakes.
  • I m Jyoti Manohar from India. As a normal Indian we were looking for vacation in switzerland. But finally we decided to visit Turkey based on recommendation pf our daughter. she only suggested we should book conducted tour with Fez travel rather than booking with indian travel agencies. Though I was convinced, my husband was not. He did search on internet in his own fashion & concluded Fez travel may be ok.( 😅). Then he send formal enqiry for Tourkey classic tour. To his surprise he got immediate response. Then my husband called Fez travel. Ms Mandana interacted with him with such a positive note that he immediately got convinced & we booked a tour. Tour experience was too good on every aspect. Nice people, very positive & informative guide Mr. Ibrahim. He was not only a good guide but very excellent human being too. He always walked an extra mile to help every one of us. Driver was too good. Accomodations provided by Fez were excellent in every aspect. We will recommend Fez travel if you want to explore Turkey. Thanks
  • Everything on the 7 day classic tour was exceptional. The driver, the guide and the whole venue. They (Feztravel) did an outstanding job and got your moneys worth. Cant say enough to praise them. (Tour date Oct 02/2017)
  • Fez Travel has organised for us one of the best tours that we had. Together with our guide – Serdar Ozkan, we travelled some 3,300km around Turkey following the itinerary. As a private group, we could alter the programme. Serdar could feel the mood of the group and altered the schedule appropriately but more importantly, took us to where the best food available. This arrangement together with the excellent driving of the long distances, the suitable accommodation and interesting sites made this trip of a life time. One aim was to see the Tulips in Istanbul. The date of 13th April was suggested. Had we arrived earlier, the tulips would not have been in bloom. When we returned to Istanbul on the 20th, the tulips had withered. This is an example of their recommendations. For us, what was promised was delivered with a smile. Thank you Fez Travel.
  • Fez Travel are an excellent operator from initial booking, contact with office, tour quality and execution, guides and drivers. We have just finished a 12 day Turkey undiscovered tour which was excellent both as value for money and overall quality of the tour and accomodation. My initial rating of 10 out of 10 however I changed to 9 out of 10 due to our comfortable minibus being swapped on our last 2 days for a larger minibus with narrower and less comfortable seats especially for our last day which was the longest travel distance from Cappadocia to Istanbul. This did not show good planning or care and cons ideration by Fez. The only other negative issue was our pick up from the airport on arrival as we had to wait over an hour for our transfer vehicle to arrive, albeit that there was a Fez rep to meet us. All said I will use Fez again and reccome d them highly.
