Emirgan Park, Istanbul

(4.6/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Walk through Emirgan Park, one of the largest public parks in the city, or stop for a traditional Ottoman meal. Nestled in an urban setting, this oasis stretches over hills and among sparkling lakes. Its collection of plants includes more than 120 species, such as Himalayan cedar, Norway spruce, and Colorado white fir. Its lengthy jogging tracks and picnic tables make it a popular destination among the locals and it hosts annual international tulip festivals. Here you'll also see a traditional Ottoman house, a 19th-century wooden mansion, and a neoclassical-style restaurant. Our Istanbul holiday planner makes visiting Emirgan Park and other Istanbul attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • Best place for fried icecream "kızarmış dondurma"
  • Can't describe it enough. An amazing place with roses and flowers all around and wonderful scenery that is perfect for photography session. Lots of brides and grooms are there for photography. Definitely a romantic place for couples.
  • A great park. You can spend a whole day there. Take your food, tea and even small gas. There are a lot of tables where you can have your lunch among the high trees. There are many child playgrounds. There is even a mescit.
  • Very nice location in beautiful park setting
