  • Great store with variety of carpets, jewelry, purses, shoes and especially leather jackets, all of good quality and affordable. 100% recommended and the best who speak Spanish. Its very nice. The corner of Naz wooden house and the best that opened branch office in Santiago de Chile...

  • A place to discover with time so you can enjoy both craft the story of furs, carpets, jewellery and a delicious Turkish tea. Each space of 'The corner of Fehmi' has its own charm. It can be found from a souvenir to a beautiful carpet of natural silk. The staff is very attentive and excellent treatment. One hundred per cent recommended

  • More than 25000 carpets in different showroom. A lot of different styles. Halit Adar makes them you discover with a lot of explanations and anecdotes, tea and Baklava! I spent a great time of sharing in this shop and am very happy with my new carpet!

  • The one thing when we visit Turkey and don't forget to buy. It's the Turkish carpet or rug. I decided to buy in Istanbul because another carpet dealers in Cappadocia and Kusadasi are very expensive. This shop also has many kinds of carpets and rugs in different level prices depend on which qualities do you want. The prices are more lower than others. And they're also give a carpet certificate for each piece.
  • The friendliness of your dependents is incredible. Everyone talks about a perfect Spanish. That if, do not leave there without a rug. Highly recommended. We spend so much time there even took us to a restaurant. All a discovery.

  • Great place for shopping for carpets and precious "replicas" of handbags and watches. There is no haggling and that, in Istanbul, is appreciated. Exquisite customer service, where even give you very good addresses of restaurants not very frequented by us, the "touristy". The cousin of the Chief, Mustafa, is a compendium of kindness and good manners. For me, extremely recommendable

Where to stay in Istanbul

The bustling downtown core of old Istanbul is the popular choice among tourists wanting a short walking distance to the city's biggest attractions. Here you'll find hostel-style accommodations and reasonably priced and traditionally decorated hotels, as well as bed and breakfasts and inns with views overlooking the sea. Though often the most affordable, accommodations in the old city can be very overrun with tourists and street solicitors. If you seek a more relaxed stay, consider lodging near Taksim Square. This new, trendy neighborhood is a short 15-20 minute ride from the old city, but puts you closer to restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. Though the newer area of the city is a bit more upscale, you'll also find moderately priced hotels and some hostels. Look for luxury hotels in the western suburbs close to the airport, overlooking the banks of Bosphorus.
