Indulge in a deluxe traditional bathing experience at Ayasofya Hurrem Sultan Hamam, which was built for the wife of Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent. The chief Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan designed the building in the mid-16th century in place of the ancient public baths of Zeuxippus, just across from Hagia Sophia. The hammam offers basic and upscale bath services including a scrub and soap massage, aromatherapy massages, mud masks, and a bubble wash, all in meditative surroundings. The entrance vestibules surrounded by wooden cubicles lead into separate baths for women and men. Taste some of the Turkish cuisine at a restaurant on the outdoor terrace. Come prepared with a change of clothes. Inspirock's itinerary builder makes planning a Istanbul trip simple and quick.

Staff were polite and friendly and explained everything. The deep tissue massage was fantastic. The bath itself was a fun and interesting experience. The staff are very professional. The grounds are very clean and the washing areas are disinfected after each client. We had such a good experience!

Located right in the heart of Istanbul and between Hagia Sophia Museum and Sultan Ahmed Mosque. The historical context and surroundings adds an unique touch to the experience. Aside from that, the Hamam experience itself is a must have in Istanbul in my opinion. Relaxing soothing. The energy is boosted after bath and massage. Service is excellent. Professional staff and masseur.

I've never tried a Hamam before, and I definitely do think it has been pimped up and stuff. It's a great hybrid between in how they managed to combine traditional Hamam and luxury. You get a bubble massage bath, which feels godly and they scrubbers are really professional and good at what they do. Ask for meuk!

The building itself is beautiful and the services are fantastic. Incredibly luxurious. If you are in Istanbul and want to do hamam, I recommend doing it here. Make sure to book ahead!

To keep it brief, this was an absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. The staff were lovely and made me feel so welcome, in particular the gentleman called Ismail who carried out my treatment was very kind and had great massage technique. The building itself was beautifully setup and you could really feel as though you were travelling back in time to the Ottoman era. I cannot stress enough how much I would recommend this to anyone looking for a solid spa treatment or even if you just want to try something new :)
