  • Think of the Ant Colony is fitting. Ants nest in underground and made some space or room, you can see even today is only part of space. I thought is narrow, like a ant colony is the fun place to adventurous.

  • A very interesting place where one can spend 3-4 hours. History and significance of place written outside on a board. If you can hire a guide it is better, otherwise you have to search it online before visit.
  • The city where the christians lived and hide from the romans in early christianity era. The site is unique and historical
  • Beware: Definitely not for the claustrophobic. This place city is an ancient multi-level underground city extending to a depth of approximately 60 m. It was large enough to shelter as many as 20,000 people together with their livestock and food stores for long periods. It is the largest excavated underground city in Turkey and is one of several underground complexes found across Cappadocia. It was opened to visitors in 1969 and about half of the underground city is currently accessible to tourists. Little guidance, mediocre lighting, but ventilation (natural) is adequate. Better to visit it with a guide. Highly recommended._
  • The underground city of Derinkuyu This incredible underground city has challenged the views and theories of archaeologists and engineers ever since it discovery. No one has been able to understand why and how it was built. While some suggest it was created to protect its inhabitants from climate change, extreme temperatures or even war, there are others who believe that its purpose is far more mysterious.
  • It was a true experience i will not repeat it again 😓 especially going down all the way again. But for the adventure u must visit
