Excavations are still in progress as far as I know. Every summer you surely go and we came upon a beautiful place. So are you a little tired to spread a large area but if you have an interest in these topics a place worth your tired. The only problem with this place is very public and visitors interested in the unconscious, and that damage. When I went last year and saw people coming on top of the columns I was so upset.

Turkey's most striking asset to the site if you're interested, do not miss one of my skin. There were reports a wide environment and have to say that you need to do long walks. I suggest you leave your water intake.

A hidden jewel of an ancient Lycian city (founded in 330 BC) near Gölhisar, Burdur, Turkey... Kibrya, the city of strong warriors and fast horses was once a very important Lycian city of its time. With the beautiful floor mosaics including one of a very large Medusa in the center of the Odeon of the Parliament Building (also used as a Music Hall and Courthouse), a 200m long, 12000 capacity Stadium which is still intact, a beautiful Theater and an Agora; Kibrya certainly deserves a visit...

A big ancient city established on three hills. In ancient time it was an important city in regional politics and I heart its population was reached to 60 thousand in its golden age. Odeion (also served as city council) of the city is magnificient that must be seen where Medusa head was still under stage ground for protection. There are ongoing archological digging going here and more to be seen and presented in coming years I hope.

You can explore this area all by yourself. Information boards present. There is nobody. You can climb and walk on the antik structures. Freee entry. Recommended!

It needs to be more goose as soon as possible. It's a very neglected historical value. This year 300 thousand allowances reserved for excavations. Must be separated by at least 1 million dollars each year. In ancient times it was a place where 100 thousand inhabitants of the city. It's a shame.
