4.8/5 based on 900+ reviews on the web
Gaziantep Zeugma Mosaic Museum exhibits the Roman floor mosaics discovered in an ancient town reputedly founded by one of Alexander the Great's generals. The museum features 1,700 sq m (18,300 sq ft) of the colorful, intricate designs. Of particular note are mosaic scenes depicting a gypsy girl and the birth of Venus. Watch the film at the entrance to learn about the history of the ancient city. Head to the second floor for the best views of nearly complete mosaics retrieved from Roman villas before the site was flooded. Modern interactive displays, music, and lighting bring these historical pieces back to life. • Gaziantep goin' to Zeugma, or don't come without. When you enter the Museum before embarking on a 12-minute trip must start track and field trip sinevizyonu. It's been a long time since I visited at home and abroad enjoy no such Museum. Mosaic lovers must necessarily be suffered.

  • Amazing pieces of mosaic. Archeology at its finest! This is where you can the precious gypsy girl mosaic also believe to be a mosaic of Alexander the great
  • The building is modern and has an overall nice exterior. The entrance fee is 10 TRY, which is honestly fairly good for what you get. This is the world's largest mosaic museum, but don't expect it to blow you away completely. The exhibits are well displayed and there are quite a few of them. Sadly, many of the mosaics are incomplete and some are just bits and pieces. If you're in Gaziantep, i recommend you visit this place.
  • Impresive part of Ancient History. I liked it a lot. Ticket 15 TL.
  • Not disappointing
  • A nice Museum
