Given the thousands of martyrs for the homeland, land of paradise for visitors peaceful, gorgeous, full of emotion. 3, 4 hours just take our your feast. Don't miss the presentation of the Museum and Visual Promotion Center.

  • I lived in Australia and New Zealand for a few years and Gallipoli is almost a founding myth in those respective countries. It was fascinating to come here and see the place and battle(s) I heard so much about. What was really interesting was also to see it from Ottoman/Turkish perspective. What's amazing about the whole complex is how the winning side the Turks have almost dedicated it to losing side renaming the landing area to Anzac cove etc. I can't think of anywhere else where such a thing has happened. I did a tour which you almost have to do. It's a big site so walking and local buses are not a realistic prospect. It was really hot so bring water and sunscreen but most of all if you have heard of Gallipoli and have any interest in it absolutely worth a visit.
  • Worth all the time travelling there and back in a full mini bus and also worth every penny, €125, for the tour. Lunch included. No commentary on the 4.5 hour ride down to Eceabat, which was a shame, but once we collected our guide in Eceabat he was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Two stops on the way down and back to Istanbul, with lunch in between. Left my hotel at 7am and got back at 10.45pm. Very long day but I loved it. Even walking where I could.
  • Should be visited. This national park is very good to visit for students and who like historical and memorial places.
  • I see most of the historical places here, very emotional... to bad other tourists were making jokes and yelling around. But some of them were praying, which is very nice.
  • Lots of history , there are good Signs which explain a lot of what happened in the area. It's best to have a guide to get the full experience, plus you need a car
