Saklikent, Fethiye

Categories: Canyons, National Parks, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.5/5 based on 2,600+ reviews on the web
Hike around Saklikent and find out why its name means "hidden city" in Turkish. At 300 m (984.25 ft) deep and 18 km (11 mi) long, it is one of the most impressive canyons in the world. While you probably won't walk the full 18 km (11 mi) of the gorge, be aware that many parts are only accessible via uphill and rocky conditions or through various levels of water. Choose secure footwear, as many have seen their sandals washed away with the water. River rafting is also available for an extra cost. Work out when and for how long to visit Saklikent and other Fethiye attractions using our handy Fethiye vacation generator.
