Ancient Rock Tombes, Fethiye
(4.1/5 based on 400+ reviews on the web)
Admire Ancient Rock Tombes, carved into the cliff face on a hill above town. These well-preserved tombs are easily accessible from the town, given that the ancient Lycians preferred to live with their deceased nearby. Catch your breath after the steep uphill climb by enjoying a drink and meal at the restaurant conveniently located close to the tombs at the top of the hill. Capture a panoramic view of the surrounding cliffs and town from your position near the tombs. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear, given the uphill climb. • The tomb was visited late at night almost at night by climbing over the fence))) Is added to the severity of sensations, mystery. At night everything looks different! Raised with a flashlight, wake up a little. The sheer size of the tomb is impressive, when you enter a number! His technology, which owned the builders of these tombs! Try to cut from stone, and yes even at such height all sorts of bagatelle, all smoothly, evenly. The gates themselves look like Tomb carved out of wood gate with various small fragments and details. Reminded very much Peter. View of the city at night too impressive! I do not recommend to go there on a weekend, many young people dazed Chase like crazy, it looks like they have there place partying.
