  • historical places are not my thing but I like this place a lot, especially when written I would strongly recommend you to get up the mountain behind the rock already steps. but a little tiring a steep hill of course. you can see the places that far away across the landscape that you're dating is many ways and mountain scenery background. I bought me coffee was great:) sit down for hours, see the remote had no any reptile without fear.

  • In the village of Eskisehir Yazilikaya, under is this Phrygian Tomb from the 8th century BC on top of a hill. The beautiful sculpted front of the rock is 18 m high and contains inscriptions still at the top of the side edges in the Phrygian Scripture. A kind of rune characters. The monument has nothing to do with the King Midas: it says Mida and this is in fact one of the names of Cybele, the Anatolian Mother goddess who was worshipped here. -There is behind the Tomb a path to cisterns and on to the hill where another Cybele altar. There is also a necropolis with tombs. -near is a restaurant with toilet-

  • Water pumping at staircase walls carved out a huge rock monument is famous, but deep in the Earth's Interior, in addition to the top of the Hill, perhaps probably ruins of the castle in the sky that is interesting. To better manage and protect more firmly as a precious heritage is crumbling rock and off the beaten path and visit too many people think.

  • Fascinating history, it is really unbelievable that people lived here and they had a community and a civilization. They spoke a different language than the present language spoken in this land. Everything happened centuries ago. Now we see their monument and the remarkable remains of their city. The place has toilet, car parking, fast food and a small parking area. The security is very helpful. I think you should visit this site if you are interested in antique history. The king Midas. (The four star is because of missing facilities) you need 30 minutes for quick and 1,5 hours for full tour of the site by the way.
  • I found more than I expected to find! It is unbelievable to see how awesomely this monument has been preserved for more than 2700 years. Every single carving, ornament and text look as if they were done recently. Before you start, most probably Veysel Bey (or Veysi, I might not be remembering his name correct) who is in charge of the protection of the monument will come and give a warm welcome and a brochure to you. Do not leave this place without listening to the history of the region from him! He will tell some marvellous facts about the place and the SECRET UNDERGROUND CITY hidden under the Ancient Phrygian Valley!!
  • Great historical place

  • The closer you get to 15 km. But from a distance of 150 km is not logical for this place to come. There are also YouTube vide
