  • We visited this place while driving from Eskişehir to Denizli. 20km away from the main road, you can enjoy the meadows and rural scenary. It is really facinating to see this place and unbelievable how they carved the hill and lived in the caves.
  • Very cool. Amazing 6th c. BCE monument complex.
  • Fascinating history, it is really unbelievable that people lived here and they had a community and a civilization. They spoke a different language than the present language spoken in this land. Everything happened centuries ago. Now we see their monument and the remarkable remains of their city. The place has toilet, car parking, fast food and a small parking area. The security is very helpful. I think you should visit this site if you are interested in antique history. The king Midas. (The four star is because of missing facilities) you need 30 minutes for quick and 1,5 hours for full tour of the site by the way.
  • I found more than I expected to find! It is unbelievable to see how awesomely this monument has been preserved for more than 2700 years. Every single carving, ornament and text look as if they were done recently. Before you start, most probably Veysel Bey (or Veysi, I might not be remembering his name correct) who is in charge of the protection of the monument will come and give a warm welcome and a brochure to you. Do not leave this place without listening to the history of the region from him! He will tell some marvellous facts about the place and the SECRET UNDERGROUND CITY hidden under the Ancient Phrygian Valley!!
  • Beautiful places.amazing history. Firig valley
