Cave Ruin Must See
Go on a journey below the surface of the Earth at Derinkuyu Yeralti Sehri, a place that once housed up to 20,000 people. This elaborate subterranean complex dates back to about the 7th century BCE and has been used as a refuge from raiders and invaders even in modern times. It descends eight floors and includes a church and a school, together with living quarters, stables, storage rooms, and manufacturing facilities. You can also see the ingenious air and water supply systems. The chambers and passageways are well-lit, but often narrow and with low ceilings, so anyone suffering from claustrophobia might experience discomfort. History. Caves and underground floors that are thousands of years old. Impressive how this has made without them the current technology. Well worth it to visit.

incredible place. Oxford was affecting most us trip. Fairy Bacalari or Open Air Museum or Ok-Uchisar Castle didn't seem so impressive. My advice is if you are Nevsehire Underground City Trip is not necessarily. Both flowed through and a trip to both exciting and exhausting. (This may sound a little depressing Hastasiysaniz advise Asthma-size)

It is always a pleasure to see everyone but not everyone necessarily should be suffered to live the wonderful and impressive and historic area, you won't be able to survive for a long time from the domain. If you have asthma or a heart condition or be careful if you're claustrophobic.

  • It's an interesting place, the ground city has cold climate even if it's summer. There is a mid scale church next to entrance of the underground city but it's always closed. There is no good or traditional food near this place. Come be full and go to the centrum for dinner or lunch.
  • Best part of my tour when I was here. No need to be on an organized tour to see it but the information the tour guide provided really added to the experience.
  • You just have to see this to believe it. Underground tunnel network that held as many as 30,000 people. What?!
  • The best underground city in Cappadokia, since newly discovered huge Nevsehir underground city with its 5th century churches & untouched frescoes with unique motives still under excavation
  • Underground city is worth seen. I wonder how those people lived underground so long.
