Cirali Beach, Cirali

4.4
#6 of 16 in Beaches in Antalya Province
Beach Nature / Park
Secluded Cirali Beach remains free of high-rise developments and big crowds largely thanks to its status as a protected area. Home to a population of endangered loggerhead turtles, which swim ashore to lay their eggs in the sand, the beach offers a 3 km (1.8 mi) stretch of pristine Mediterranean coastline. This area offers few modern facilities, but you can find several simple but cozy restaurants and inns at the nearby village of Cirali. Spend some time watching the turtles and swimming, and then consider exploring the area's ancient Lycian ruins. Where to stay in Cirali

Beachside Çiralı represents a quiet alternative to neighboring towns. The natural beach of the Turquoise Coast welcomes visitors of all walks with its ruins and easygoing culture. Here you'll find a number of family-friendly hotels and guesthouses to choose from, as well as several hostels. Alternatively, consider camping at one of the many campgrounds where tents are available for rent. Most of the restaurants in the area are located inside hotels, so keep that in mind if you opt to stay elsewhere.

  • Without turtles here isn't anything special: sand (pebbles within Olympos ruins), clear sea and no many people.  more »
  • The beach was very clear. Perfect for a stonebeach - but I prefer a sand beach. Possibility for food, drinks and snacks is very close.  more »
  • Well worth a visit ....long sandy beach , close to Olympus, lovely places to eat. Went in April and the sea was beautifully warm and we almost had the beach to ourselves !  more »
