(4.4/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Lower your sails and soak in the laid-back Mediterranean atmosphere at Port Bodrum Yalikavak. Once a quaint fishing port on the outskirts of Bodrum, the marina has become a tourist destination spot. Browse shops featuring some of the world's most renowned brands, or look for authentic Turkish products. The area boasts a good selection of bars and restaurants, as well as numerous art galleries. Stroll along the sea to admire hundreds of docked yachts, or spend time on the beach. Alternatively, visit the local entertainment complex, which includes everything from a water park to a 7-D cinema. The marina's open-air amphitheatre, which seats up to 2,500, often hosts live performances. If you plan to arrive by boat, consider making mooring reservations online. • The port of Bodrum is located close to the tourist centre. Hence it is close to this monument as Castle of St. Peter. The port there are many street cafés, where you can enjoy a coffee or something cold and enjoy views of the beautiful yachts moored in the harbour.
