Camel Beach, Bodrum City

2.0
#3 of 8 in Beaches in Bodrum
A soft stretch of golden sand backed by rolling hills, Camel Beach sits in a scenic bay devoid of high-rise hotels and noisy bars. One of the more family-friendly spots on Bodrum Peninsula, the beach offers calm water and plenty of modern facilities. Several daily boat tours stop at this location, allowing pleasure seekers to enjoy a long swim or rest on the sand before heading off to the next destination on the coastline. For something a bit different, take a camel ride along the water, or explore the lighthouse at the northern end of the bay. • The beach is very clean, never waves from the balcony as in the pool! Though a bit beautiful surrounding. Had a rest in two different places. The first SunSet cafe & beach (blue umbrellas and near Pierce) admission 35 lire per person, but the money you there and spend. Parking fee required. There is a shower and a toilet, but they're a bit away. This place is very crowded due to visiting yachts. But on the whole, we enjoyed it. The second place that we visited, Efem cafe. Parking 10 lire, but the presence of a cheque from the parking lot you emit 1.5 litres of water. Entry 25 lire, and in the same way you have them there to spend. The prices here are a bit cheaper than in the first place. For comparison: 1.5 l water 6-5 lire, eating about the same worth, Ayran 7.5-5 lire, coffee round 7.5-7 lire. First price in the first Cafe, the second in the second. There is a toilet and shower. The beach is clean, no algae. Number of camels, but the odor from them not. I advise everyone to go here, especially with children)

  • Kargi Bay aka Camel Beach, Bodrum is a place where a lot of her name known. It's enough to drive and has a free parking space sailing is a suitable wind in water sports. The beach consists of a beautiful thin sand, the sea is cold and that's a long time in the water at the beach boy play, romp, easily can be done activities like to chat. Usually families preferred Pike Bay lounge chairs have been asked not yet seen money. Only one of the region's business that you use (hotels, cafes, etc.) are demanding you to and provide food and drink prices, I think it's fair. Undisturbed, allowing arbitrary economic ideal environment to make a sea Bay of Pike to come you will not regret it.

Where to stay in Bodrum City

The expansive area of Bodrum City and its seaside coast offer much in the way of accommodations--at any price point. The city's main attraction, the castle, seems to yield budget-friendly hostels and guesthouses in the immediate area; expect dense crowds enjoying the animated nightlife here. An array of four-star hotels and resorts hug the curves of the coastline and continue farther west of the city core. If you prefer more luxurious lodging, seek out the handful of five-star resorts located slightly inland and a little bit southeast of the city core.
