  • It's dizzying, some not the courage to take him down, but it is possible without too much difficulty to walk on the bleachers, of course as on most part of ancient sites, monitored the children because the fall the little be bad for the large and small. but the building is exceptional by its slope!

  • A majestic and breath taking view. The remaining ruin still give a glimpse of its original beauty. Standing at the top you can feel the King eye gazing on his kingdom
  • Trojan Horse of Troy was the start at Canakkale and after lunch we headed to Acropolis - Bergama's richest archaeological dramatic site perched atop a high steep-sided hill. The ruins of the Acropolis is well preserved until this day albeit completed in the 5th century BC and allows tourists to have a glimpse of ancient Turkey when glory, power and war reigned. 2 hours of walking in this huge area indeed was quiet exhausting though you can take shorts break, rest and continue walking. Acropolis indeed is a magnificent and marvellous site and to complete your visit, take the cable car ride to the highest hilltop point for another stunning scenery. On your way back down, there's stalls selling food and drinks. I tried the hot yoghurt spicy drink and loved it. A little tangy and aromatic, the drink to keep the body warm during winter.
  • Simply incredibly. I did walk all the historic remains. It is breathtaking. Huge and we'll preserved.
  • I believe Pergamon acropolis to be a bit overrated. Being an acropolis, you get wonderful views of the valley, mountain and lake. In its day, it had the second biggest library after Alexandria, a theatre that fits 10000 people and was the centre of culture during the Hellenistic period. But, with such large crowds, it lacks the peace and serenity that we go to ruins for and the signs are disappointingly uninformative with a bunch of architectural jargon few would understand or care for. Still recommended you visit but I prefer Asklepion
  • Spectacular ruins with spectacular views surrounding of the town and dammed water reservoir. The only thing that bugs me is that they charge for parking when you take the gondola up, do you really need to do that? It's not even a parking lot.
