Devil's Feast, Ayvalik

(650+ reviews on the web)
Historic Walking Area
Local legend claims the Devil left his footprint on the aptly named Devil's Feast, arguably the finest lookout in the Ayvalik area. The over-hyped footprint is actually just a geological feature created naturally thousands of years ago; most visitors to the area flock to this spot for its sweeping views of the nearby Ayvalik Islands. Tip for photographers: in the early evening, the fading sunlight provides ideal conditions for dramatic shots. Prepare for the uphill walk by wearing a pair of comfortable shoes, and make sure to bring a light snack and lots of drinking water.
