  • Lasting, Avanos Pottery, 6 April 2017 we visited while red tour on Thursday. Part of the show was really good. Are three children from our group later trial was a good experience for them and they were happy. Tea, Apple tea, coffee are also nice. Then we got information about the painting part. Last part of the store. Many products that generated an eye-catching exhibit. More valuable products from two parts, a part is consisted of products for daily use. Particularly valuable products too expensive. The seller also persuasion (with in addition an important discount do) we bought a Hittite Sun wine according to our budget and quite high in the forest is a price we have paid. But then the similar product in four different places, one-third is on sale at rates we also caused different emotions. Have the same identical product quality product of course. As a result, we offer the next visitor at that moment, during the trip shouldn't have decided something spontaneous. If you have a product that they wish to be sure that every aspect of the product in advance to receive review information. Of course, that the market price are included!

  • Good handicraft center carved into the rocks under houses in the village, where local artists make pottery and ceramics. Some of the items are high quality therefore expensive, but you can also find something at reasonable prices.
  • Overpriced but they let you try to do the pottery yourself. They have a nice collection of pottery too.
  • Old master have good skill make it. Have 2 type Pottery clay, red & white.
  • amazing ceramics, though i'm not sure the prices make sense.
  • Quality products. Lasting ceramics.

Where to stay in Avanos

In Avanos, you'll find a lively nightlife. Along the Red River, famous for its red clay, is a collection of moderately priced hotels and a few international chains. The closer you stay to the river, the closer you'll be to the busy town square, pottery making, and cafes that line the waterfront. The more budget-conscious traveler can explore the handful of guesthouses on the north bank of the river, across the footbridge from the main downtown area. If a hostel is more in your price point, look to the neighboring town of Göreme.
