Further down was a museum plan hair Sheza Galipa. Literally a stone's throw from the pottery workshop 38.719842, 34.848638. Museum entrance 3 liras per person. Sanku as interpreter allowed free, and even gave her and me on suspension of stone called Serpentine. This is a very unusual place and unusual collection! Also copy the Dima's text with small reductions: "there are in a small town near Avanos, Goreme, VERY notable place. As said his caretaker, it for all time of its existence never produced official photo and video-Museum of hair. This is despite the fact that the collection of the Museum has been included into the Guinness Book of records. With this unusual place is located in an old Turkish House, more similar to a barn, which was dug in the local soft tuff Rock. This museum is a FEW TENS of THOUSANDS of STRANDS of women's hair! All of which hang on the walls and ceiling, with signatures, telephones, names and surnames of their former proprietresses! Imagine you enter a musty polutemnuju room with rusty doors where around you everywhere and very tight hang colorful and not very long hair ... Pretty eerie sight, similar to the plot of a horror movie, which held his victims captive maniac ...

Where to stay in Avanos

In Avanos, you'll find a lively nightlife. Along the Red River, famous for its red clay, is a collection of moderately priced hotels and a few international chains. The closer you stay to the river, the closer you'll be to the busy town square, pottery making, and cafes that line the waterfront. The more budget-conscious traveler can explore the handful of guesthouses on the north bank of the river, across the footbridge from the main downtown area. If a hostel is more in your price point, look to the neighboring town of Göreme.
