Dim Cave, Alanya
Categories: Caves, Nature & Parks
Explore the various formations caused by years of rain and snow runoff through the limestone rocks at Dim Cave. Located on the top of a mountain by a river, the two caves are estimated to be one million years old, but paths within the caves are smoothed and well lit, one of which leads to a small lake inside the cave. Enjoy a picnic in the nearby gardens as you take in the panoramic view of the nearby fortress. Public buses regularly provide transportation from the town to the caves. Dress warmly, as it tends to be cooler in the caves, and note that there are many steps up to and inside the cave that may prove difficult for those with mobility issues. Arrange to visit Dim Cave and other attractions in Alanya using our Alanya vacation builder.

a very nice experience some good pics to be taken, the only thing was its a struggle to get back out because its all uphill so if you struggle with that its very straining
Be prepared for a 330metre walk/climb, is hard work for older persons. lighting is not good. fantastic geology, stalactites/stalagmites.
Beautiful place. Funny thing too. A lift for physically challenged people led to where? Towards the caves but how to move around on cave stairs with wheelchair?

So beautiful, beautiful Lookout Mountain! The road to the cave, too beautiful-settlements, orchards etc. See once in your life!show original
