  • We chose this day to Tunis by the tour operator. To do it without hesitation! The Carthaginian baths site is superb, as is the village of Sidi bou said, and the Bardo Museum is simply outstanding. We enjoyed every moment of this tour.

  • I think place is located a few minutes from the Metro station, the location is very easy to understand. Entrance fee was very reasonable at 11 dinars (October 2018). Exhibition is unbearable feeling exhibition of mosaics and Eastern Roman Empire is like very much, personally. Base lightly just feels are required for one hour. In addition, entrust bags rosters.

  • I was there alone (26 years, female). Was not very exciting for me. The lower floor of Tunisia was worth it. If there is still time, Yes, but is not necessarily mandatory. There's better places. I'm running (1 h) from the Votel Carlton out so the area to explore. Was worth very! It is thus away from the tourists and inside with the locals. No problem for me was the feeling of insecurity have never experienced.

  • Really interesting museum full of Roman objects and mosaics from around Tunisia. It's in the old palace that was in use before 1888 and the museum have left much of the architecture in the ceilings and walls which really add to experience
  • Many old mosaics, some of the spanning the entire length of the wall or floor. It was 11 DT to get in, spent about an hour and a half here but you could easily spend longer. There are guides inside waiting for people and they will ask you if you want to use their services (I declined). Big place, lots to see on the many layers of Tunisia's history
  • The bardo museum is unique by the diversity of the monuments it contains and their impressively long date! It somehow gives an overview on the very rich history of Tunisia... I consider it as a MUST see for tunisians and tourists
  • This museum houses amazing historical pieces. The richest collection of Roman mosaics in the world is kept here.
  • Impressive collection of mosaics ! The building also are fabulous, you must need visit the last floor. I loved the baptismal baths too
