Richly decorated period rooms with meticulously preserved furniture and items depict the daily life of an aristocratic family made up of senior officials of the city administration. The building with a tiled courtyard was built in 928, making it one of the oldest in the city. Information sheets give you a chance to walk at your own pace through massive arched doors and see a collection of photographs and portraits. Top floor has a cafe, just above the servant's room. Overlooking the medina, the 65 m (213 ft) tall tower offers sweeping views of the city below.   • Wonderful ! Here you can learn and see so many things about Tunisians old style families. The museum is a well preserved house of a middle class Tunisian family with first and second wives. All the furniture, many personal objects and clothes are there . Don't forget visit the terrace !
