  • As described by other travelers, the place is nice, unfortunately the harassment of the touts spoil the fun. After this visit, we returned to the hotel very upset, our afternoon was spoiled. As noted by another user, that night at the site, but also to traders as we would have bought if we had not been trapped. In addition we didn't want to extend the visit.

  • There have been far too long, because being constantly called to visit various shops then the long tired. Anyway this is a habit that you can't subtract, and then grin and bear it! Stores full of rugs, fabrics and lots of other bits and bobs; a nice surprise at the end of one of the narrow streets, a terrace overlooking the sea and the two cemeteries, that Arab and Christian that welcomes Bettino Craxi who here is revered as its own head of State.

  • And exploring the Medina of Hammamet and watching the big Kasbah, took a walk into the sea. Hammamet's Medina is small. It ends quickly. Kasbah and beach are located.

  • Lots of shops need to savvy with how the locals sell. Don't give in to them or feel bad just say no when it's a no. Don't buy out of guilt. Some of them have decent wares but their approach can put you off.
  • Worth a visit, but boy is it hard work. Avoid it if at all a timid kind of person. You'll be skint in no time
  • What an amazingly beautiful, historic and buzzy place lots to see and do, but don't go into the religious areas, and don't let the first shop rob all of your money... lol
  • Cute little labyrinth of small streets filled with shops and cafes. Merchants are everywhere and always ready to haggle over price so be ready. Nice place for souvenirs and if you are in buying fakes :) But be careful of those saying they work at your hotel...they are not.
  • All inclusive for 1 week in late August weather beautiful staff were fantastic and friendly, food was good plenty of bars to choose from overall had a great holiday and would return again.
