As the country's biggest port and one of the busiest in all of Europe, Hamburg has a well-deserved reputation as Germany's Gateway to the World.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Miniatur Wunderland and Alter Elbtunnel. Speicherstadt and Marktkirche will appeal to history buffs. Step out of Hamburg to go to Lubeck and see Lubeck Altstadt (Lubeck Oldtown), which is approximately 1h 05 min away.
