Named after a nearby scenic gorge famous for its steep sandstone formations, Wisconsin Dells features more than 20 water parks, making it one of the most popular vacation areas in this region.
Step off the beaten path and head to Tommy Bartlett Exploratory and Riverwalk. Attractions like Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park and Wilderness Territory make great kid-friendly stops. Step out of Wisconsin Dells with an excursion to Parfrey's Glen State Natural Area in Baraboo--about 34 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, look for all kinds of wild species at Original Wisconsin Ducks, make a trip to MagiQuest, and make a splash at Noah's Ark Water Park.
