The rainforest meets the sea at Manuel Antonio National Park, a small but scenic natural preserve on the west coast of Costa Rica.
You've now added Kids Saving the Rain Forest to your itinerary. Kids will enjoy Fishing Costa Rica with Big Eye Charters and Spas. Take a break from the city and head to Playa Espadilla Norte and Dominicalito Beach. Get out of town with these interesting Manuel Antonio side-trips: Playa Bejuco (in Esterillos Este), Dominical (Mama Toucan's Natural and Organic Food Store & Parque Reptilandia) and Palo Seco Beach (in Parrita). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Playas Gemelas, tour the pleasant surroundings at La Playita, walk around La Selvita, and make a trip to Marina Pez Vela.
