City of Roses

A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Manzanita Beach and Seaside Beach. Explore hidden gems such as Willamette Valley and Live Laugh Love Art. Get out of town with these interesting Portland side-trips: The Historic Carousel and Museum (in Albany) and Horsetail Falls- Columbia River Gorge (in Hood River). There's lots more to do: get a dose of the wild on Volcano Lands - Private Tours, steep yourself in history at Columbia River Highway, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Tabor Park, and wander the streets of Northwest (Nob Hill).
