For most visitors on holiday in Baddeck, the town represents the beginning and the end of the world-famous Cabot Trail, a scenic roadway looping around the northern tip of Cape Breton Island.

The largest city on Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown remains small enough for easy exploration on foot.
On the 8th (Wed), stroll through Cavendish Beach, then get in on the family fun at Avonlea Village, and then walk around Victoria Park. Keep things going the next day: contemplate the long history of Beaconsfield Historic House, contemplate the long history of St. Dunstan's Basilica, then take a memorable tour with Tours, and finally make a trip to Victoria Row.

Called "Hub City" because of its history as a major transportation center, Moncton boasts two universities and a pleasant downtown filled with restaurants and shops.
On the 10th (Fri), learn more about the world around you at Magnetic Hill Park, then make a splash at Magic Mountain, then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Magnetic Hill Zoo, and finally explore the galleries of Thomas Williams House. On your second day here, examine the collection at Steeves House Museum, then admire the majestic nature at Hopewell Rocks, then contemplate the waterfront views at Tidal Bore, and finally kick back and relax at Parlee Beach.
