Writer Pearl Buck once called New York City “a place apart,” and this giant urban center remains unlike any other in the world.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Central Park and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Go for a jaunt from New York City to Bronx to see Bronx Zoo about 36 minutes away. There's still lots to do: take in panoramic vistas at Empire State Building, admire the striking features of Rockefeller Center, contemplate the long history of 9/11 Memorial, and appreciate the history behind Statue of Liberty National Monument.
