Kathmandu to Manang is an approximately 4-hour combination of car and flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Kathmandu in December, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit warmer in Manang, with lows of 10°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Mon) early enough to travel to Dharan.

Dharan is one of the Sub-Metropolitan cities in eastern Nepal, in the Sunsari District, and is situated on the foothills of the Mahabharat Range in the north with its southern tip touching the edge of the Terai region at an altitude of 1148 ft . Dharan is known for historic sites and sightseeing.
