Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Step off the beaten path and head to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Inari Reindeer Farm. Explore Inari's surroundings by going to Gold Prospector Museum (in Tankavaara) and Saariselka Reindeer Farm (in Saariselka). It doesn't end there: wander the wide-open spaces of Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus and experience rural life at Tuula's Reindeer.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.Start off your visit on the 27th (Thu): admire all the interesting features of Napapiirin Porofarmi, then get advice or help at Rovaniemi City Library, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy. Keep things going the next day: see what you can catch with a fishing tour and then revel in the low prices at Marttiini Store Old Factory.
