Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sat): appreciate the extensive heritage of St. Mark's Square, contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande, then snap pictures at Ponte dei Sospiri, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Porta della Carta.

On the 3rd (Sun), kick back and relax at Spiaggia dell' Isuledda. On your second day here, stroll through Cala Ginepro Beach, enjoy the sand and surf at Spiaggia della Tartaruga o de Ghjlgolu, and then stroll through La Cinta.

On the 8th (Fri), examine the collection at Galleria dell'Accademia, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, then get engrossed in the history at Basilica di Santa Croce, and finally admire the masterpieces at Uffizi Galleries. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get great views at Piazzale Michelangelo and then explore the world behind art at Pitti Palace.

Traveling by train from Rome to Florence takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or fly. Traveling from Rome in June, expect a bit cooler with lows of 60°F in Florence. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 9th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
