Helsinki is known for sightseeing, historic sites, and museums. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: brush up on your military savvy at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kamppi Chapel of Silence, get engrossed in the history at The National Museum of Finland, and admire the masterpieces at Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Start off your visit on the 25th (Sun): have fun at Kids' Land, join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, and then get a taste of the local shopping with Elan Ski Shop & Rental. On the next day, grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort.

Traveling by flight from Helsinki to Levi takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Helsinki in December, expect Levi to be little chillier, temps between -6°C and -15°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 26th (Mon) so you can go by car to Rovaniemi.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 27th (Tue), get in on the family fun at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, then get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, and then make a trip to Lordi's Square. On the 28th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: look for gifts at LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier, then have fun at Santa Claus Office, and then don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village.
