Buenos Aires to Cordoba is an approximately 6.5-hour car ride. You can also fly; or drive; or take a bus. Expect somewhat warmer evenings in Cordoba when traveling from Buenos Aires in July, with lows around 15°C. On the 19th (Sun), you'll travel to Province of La Rioja.

La Rioja is the capital city of the Argentine province of La Rioja, located in the east of the province. You've now added Parque Provincial Ischigualasto - Valle de la Luna to your itinerary. Spend the 20th (Mon) exploring nature at Parque Nacional Talampaya. Getting from Cordoba to Province of La Rioja by car takes about 5.5 hours. Other options: fly; or take a bus. On the 23rd (Thu), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to San Juan.

San Juan acts as a more humble and provincial version of nearby Mendoza, with all the wineries and lush landscape, but less of the hustle, bustle, and international guests.

Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 24th (Fri): engage your brain at Museo de Ciencias Naturales, examine the collection at Museo de la Memoria Urbana o del Terremoto, then examine the collection at Casa Natal de Sarmiento, and finally do a tasting at Bodega Merced del Estero.
